Cal Retrofit was built on one question.

Cal Retrofit was founded to answer a real, growing question in Southern California: who actually knows how to bring an aging soft-story building or an under-maintained balcony into compliance with the state's structural-safety mandates, and who can finish the work?

California's structural-compliance landscape has gotten more complex every year. Soft-story retrofit ordinances, SB-721 and SB-326 balcony deadlines, and foundation liability all carry real cost for property owners. Cal Retrofit was built to be the single accountable partner for every part of that work.

We carry the permitting, the fabrication, the install, and the closeout under one license, with structural engineering by our sister company Naxa. Property owners, HOAs, and multifamily operators hire us because the chain doesn't break.
